Itir has more than 25 years of experience in the marine business and yachting tourism sector in Türkiye and Greece. In 1997, she started her career as a base manager of a German charter company in Göcek and continued her business life at C&N Marinas Port Göcek as a Deputy General Manager for 4 years. In 2002, she moved to Athens and started to work at a yacht agency. In 2004, Itir established her own Ship & Yacht Agency with the trade name ITIR IPEKEL TSIROPOULOS in Bodrum and Göcek.
In the year 2020, she established the company ARGOLIS YACHT LINES TOURISM S.A. in the form it operates today. In the year 2024, she established the company in the United Kingdom under the name ARGOLIS YACHT LINE LTD with activities of Ship & Yacht Register Services, Companies Formation, Maritime Management & Consultant Activities.
She is an active member of (IMEAK) Turkish Chamber of Shipping, (TYBA) Yachting & Brokerage Association, (YBA) Yacht Brokers Association, (VDA) Maritime Association of Shipowners and Agents, and a member of (BOTAV) Bodrum Promotion and Foundation.
