General Process:
For your entry if your yacht is for pleasure up to 300 GT will require the yacht registry in original, insurance certificate, captain’s and crew license(s) in original, and passports or IDs in original. Each yacht must purchase a Transit Log, which is the travel document of the yacht during her stay in Turkish territory and states the yacht’s master, owner, intended ports in Türkiye and registered inventory. For over 300 GT or for any other use like commercial the requested documents are different.
How long can I keep my yacht in Turkish Territory?
Foreign-flagged pleasure yachts can remain in Türkiye for up to five (5) years without a requirement. However, the owner must be sailed at least once every year to maintain this status and renew Transit Log. After five years can leave the country for a day and make a new entry for another five (5) years.
